Friday, December 13 was Jamie Foxx’s birthday. The actor and comedian is 57 years old!
Over the weekend, they enjoyed a birthday dinner. Well, he enjoyed it most of all, one assumes.
According to his spokesperson, someone threw a glass at him – which hit him in the mouth. He required stitches and was improving.
Following the worrying incident, Fix is now updating fans about his well-being on Instagram.
His post read, “The devil is busy.” “But I’m too lucky to be stressed.”
In the caption, Fox elaborated, writing: “The devil lies.” Their meaning is not completely clear.

Fox told his fans and followers, “Can’t win here… Thank you to everyone who prays and checks on me.”
He lamented, “When your light is shining… they try to bring you darkness.”
“But,” Fox warned, “they don’t know you’re made for this…the lights are shining bright…”
“And a big thank you to everyone who watched and was inspired by it whatever happened happenedFox added.
He talked about his comedy special being “number 1 on @Netflix, please watch it if you haven’t seen it.”
Fox then confirmed that “It’s from my heart and my soul.”

Additionally, the Beverly Hills Police Department responded to a call at the restaurant. Authorities rejected claims that there was an “assault with a deadly weapon”, instead calling it a “physical altercation”.
No arrests were made as a result of this incident. Obviously, fans have a lot of questions – but it’s still nice to hear that Fox felt good enough to update them.
