Jake Paul: John Fury goes berserk after Tommy Fury

John Fury lost his mind while promoting his son’s upcoming fight against Jake Paul.

On February 26, Tommy Fury seeks to silence doubters by handing ‘The Problem Child’ his first loss in professional boxing. There’s been bad blood throughout the rivalry, but it’s almost time the trash talk was endorsed. During an interview with Fight Hub TV, Papa Fury was asked about the matchup and had the following to say:

“Jake Paul I love your family you are an amazing promoter you have done your job but this is where it stops. When we take this shit in the ring, it’s over for you. You’re being knocked out, you know it.

The 58-year-old went wild as Tommy’s team and the fans began feeding off his energy. Fury’s ballistic reaction came shortly after the weigh-in, where ‘TNT’ shoved Paul. Although ‘The Problem Child’ is very confident, the older Fury believes the former YouTuber might have lost too much weight.

John Fury thinks Jake Paul lost too much weight

Jake Paul weighed in at 183.6 pounds, with Tommy Fury at 184.5. Paul weighed in at 186.5 in his last fight against Anderson Silva, so he has some experience cutting back. That being said, John Fury believes that ‘The Problem Child’ might have botched his weight loss this time around. During the same interview with Fight Hub TV, Papa Fury said the following:

“You’ve lost too much weight… Look at that guy’s body, what a chance he has to take on a titan like Tommy. No possibility. No chance, all those arms are used to wipe his butt… Without muscles, without definition, he has lost the transformation of his body. He’s weak with the weight, you can see it, and he’s terrified. He’s getting knocked out.”

Paul advanced his professional boxing record to 6-0 by defeating Silva in October. Meanwhile, Fury’s last pro fight was a decision win against Daniel Bocianski in April 2022, bringing his record to 8-0. Both fighters have been questioned about their opponent selection and their overall skills, but now they have a chance to validate their fight journey by winning on February 26.
