When Madison Brown disappoints her dad, you know she’s got a good head on her shoulders.
recently, sister Wives Villain Kody Brown spoke dismissively and downright abusively about several of his children.
He specifically mentioned his daughter, Maddie Brown Brush.
Now, it seems she is clapping back at some of her father’s displeasure.
Madison Brown shares a piece of advice
Maddie Brown Brush shared a screenshot of a text post on her Instagram Story, which read: “A piece of advice.”
The post continues, advising people to “never befriend or form family again with someone who has tried to destroy your character, your integrity, or your relationships with others.”
Madison’s candid commentary reads: “A snake sheds its skin only to become a bigger snake. If other people fall victim to this and move away from you because of it, let them do so. … Sooner or later, the snake will bite them too.”
These words are not original to Maddie. And she does not refer to Kody Brown as her father or father figure or by name in the post.
Out of context, this could be a common part of (sage’s) advice about keeping toxic people out of your life.
However, in context, it seems obvious to many sister Wives Fans found out that it was about Cody. They took to social media to cheer for Madison Brown because she (allegedly) appreciates her dad.

“Poor Madison. I really feel for him. Imagine your own father getting up and criticizing you on national TV. Although I have to say I’m proud of her for not letting it break her,” one Reddit citizen wrote.
“I feel for him too,” agreed another Redditor. “I can’t imagine waking up tomorrow (or ever) and hearing your father speaking about you like this. He is despicable.”
An additional commenter chimed in: “Oh. I’m sorry about that. She was very insecure when she asked her father to be her possessor and name her second child after him and he was very complacent in return! He tried very hard.
sister Wives The fans are Team Maddie, and it’s no surprise. Just as it’s no surprise that she dislikes her father, or at least appears to. Kody recently lashed out specifically about Madison Brown.
“They are deliberately excluding me from their lives to punish me for a crime I did not commit,” he said, crying.
Specifically, Kody was complaining that Madison took her kids away from him — and reportedly didn’t tell her she was pregnant.
Is this about ‘punishing’ Cody?
When a family member reduces or eliminates contact with someone, it is not punishment. The “silent behavior” can be a punishment in toxic homes. However, going no contact is about your personal well-being.
Be it physical safety or mental and emotional health, sometimes people have to lose touch with family. Abusive parents, narcissistic relatives and more don’t have to stay in your life forever – even if you were born in the same family.
When Madison Brown cuts off Kody, it’s in the best interest of her and her kids. And when she criticizes her father, she is only describing him accurately. Cody doesn’t seem capable of making real, positive change.
