With the Golden State Warriors officially announcing the trade to acquire Dennis Schroder from the Brooklyn Nets, all eyes have been focused on news of his debut. It remains to be seen if Dennis Schroder will start in his franchise debut with the Warriors. Coach Steve Kerr said he has yet to decide what his starting lineup would look like after Schroder’s signing, but hinted that the Warriors will play him plenty of minutes without and alongside Steph Curry.
Averaging 18.4 points and 6.6 assists on 45/39/89 splits, Schroder enters the Warriors’ lineup as the second-leading scorer behind Curry. The Warriors hope he will take the offensive load off of Curry as a ball handler and scorer.
