I don’t think he’ll get the hunger back

Roy Keane has sent a warning to Marcus Rashford as the Manchester United star contemplates an exit from Old Trafford. He believes that the Englishman seems to have lost his way and adds that the striker is distracted.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Stick to Football, Keane claimed a move would do “a lot of good” for Rashford as he has lost his hunger at Manchester United. He added that the forward needs to return to his best level.

Keane said via Metro:

“I don’t really care what he said, he’s right. Sometimes a deal works for everyone; it’s been like that for a year or two now. Obviously there’s some talent there and he’s been at the club since he was a kid. A change It would probably do him a lot of good if he, his team and his family went abroad. My only warning for players like that: him. [Marcus Rashford] “He has all those characteristics as a footballer.”

“If you lose that hunger, it’s hard to get it back. We know that for great players, it has nothing to do with money, but with the next challenge and with your pride. Marcus seems to have lost his way and has lost his Hunger. We mentioned the watches and all the things off the pitch, and if he’s a little distracted by that, it might be difficult to get him back with a change of club and scene, but I don’t think hunger at United will do it,” he added.

Marcus Rashford was left out of Manchester United’s squad for the Manchester Derby. He has not been called up for Thursday’s clash against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

Marcus Rashford hints at departure from Manchester United

Marcus Rashford spoke to Henry Winter earlier this week and hinted that he was open to a move away from Manchester United. He stated that he will not leave on a bad note and will send a statement when the time comes.

He said:

“If I know a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse. I’ve seen other players leave in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be on my side.”

Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all been linked with a move for Marcus Rashford. Saudi Pro League teams are also keeping an eye on the English star striker.
