Gwendlyn Brown’s fiancé has something to say about her future father-in-law.
In a new YouTube video, Beatriz Queiroz holds nothing back when it comes to Sister Wives’ patriarch, who has been abandoned by three of her spiritual spouses over the years.
“Cody’s an interesting character. He’s energetic and fun. He’s a fun guy,” Queiroz said this week during a sit-down with Cody’s daughter.
“I just, sometimes when he says certain things, I don’t like it.”
mean what, exactly?
“I don’t like the way he talks to you at all,” she told Gwendlyn, whose mother Christine left Cody in November 2021.
“He’s so funny. I really like Cody,”
“He’s so funny. I really like Cody,” said Gwendlyn.
“I don’t think he knows how to speak respectfully to some of his family members – and in particular, I care very much about someone speaking downright.”
Gwendin has been especially candid of late when it comes to her parents.
In December, she spoke openly about her reaction when her mother told her she was leaving her father.
“I was like, you leaving? Good for you!” Brown spoke in a YouTube video that month about how his mother broke the news to him:
“She told me she was leaving and divorcing my dad at the same time. I was all hyped for her. Obviously I love her and I visit her all the time.
“But she was going home and I was happy for her. I didn’t like their relationship and she’s doing great now.
Queiroz — who got engaged to the reality star in December — also talked about being a part of Gwendlyn’s polygamous family on Valentine’s Day.
“It’s definitely hard to get close to everyone because there are so many of them,” she explained.
“And I’m used to being very close to family and I don’t have a great memory, so it’s hard to remember all their names and stuff.”
Last week, Gwendlyn discussed the rift between her father and some of his 18 children in a separate YouTube video.
“He’s really changed,” Gwendlyn said of her father.
“I think she started to change because her kids used to be young and easily manipulated and I think she found it easier to talk to them [back then], We weren’t that drunk.”
“Now, we’re adults and we have our own opinions,” she continued.
“We have our adult thoughts and we have things that we do as adults and I think they find it easier to talk about [us] When we were not so drunk.
Back in January, Gwendlyn further expanded on her relationship with Cody following his split from his mother, Christine.
“It’s a lot of flip flops for me. Personally, my dad is dear to me now,” she said at the time.
“We’ve had our differences in the past, but we’re getting along better and since we’re not around each other, we can’t be too angry with each other.”
He said, pointedly:
“But when I watch the episodes, I dislike him a little bit.”
