Who is Joan Vasos?
If you’re a member of Bachelor Nation, then you likely know Joan Vasos’ story all too well.
Vasos, 61, a private school administrator from Rockville, Maryland, first appeared on The Golden Bachelor, where she tried to win the heart of Geri Turner.
Joan took her own life because of her daughter’s medical problem. During her time on the show, it was clear how much her family meant to her. This included her late husband, John.
John died of pancreatic cancer after 32 years of marriage. “He was a husband who always made me feel safe and cherished,” the newest Bachelorette wrote on Instagram in January.
‘The Golden Bachelorette’ spoilers: Who will Theresa end up with?
Warning: there are definitely some spoilers ahead
According to Spoiler Master Reality Steve, The final four of the zone will consist of the following lovers:
Chuck Chappell, 60, an insurance executive from Wichita, Kansas; Guy Gansert, 66, an emergency physician from Reno, Nevada; Jordan Heller, 61, a sales manager from Chicago; and Pascal Ibaguie, 69, a salon owner from Chicago.
Only Choc, Guy, and Pascal make it to the Fantasy Suite round.
Steve says Joan will only have two date nights during this crucial stage of the competition. And she’s still in a relationship with a guy (no joke)!
Yes, Joan may soon become a doctor’s wife, as she is reported to conclude her season by handing her final rose to Guy Gansert.
Although the couple has found love, it seems like they are in no rush to reach the wedding altar.
Is Joan Vasos engaged to Guy Gansert?
Although Steve has confirmed that Joan and Guy are still together, there is no information yet on whether or not they are engaged. This won’t come as too much of a surprise to fans who are familiar with Joan’s ideas of getting married very soon.
“I probably wouldn’t rush into getting married right away — and not just because of what happened with Gerry and Theresa,” Joan recently told CNN.
“I think it takes a while to really get to know someone. In the wilderness, in the real world, you need to spend some time out there.
“If it turns into an engagement, I’m all for it. I believe the process works. I’ve seen it work for a lot of couples on The Bachelor, so I believe in the process,” Joan said.
“If this turns into an engagement, that’s great. If this turns into an engagement, you and I will be able to know each other better in the outside world, that’s also right.”
Yes, it seems that Gerry and Theresa’s imminent divorce has Joan feeling a little nervous about the prospect of tying the knot.
Thankfully, happy endings can take many forms, and it looks like Joan has found her happy ending!
