He is found alive and presumably well.

His past is somewhat unclear.
According to documents obtained by In Touch Weekly, Waithe has been in legal trouble multiple times.
For example, a 39-year-old man pleaded guilty and was convicted of illegally consuming alcohol in the state of Indiana in 2005.
A year later, Waite was charged with marijuana possession.
