The latest episode of Sister Wives covered a memorable event that no one thought would ever happen again.
Kody Brown, in the same room, with his wife and all his ex-wives.
Her hostile relationships with Christine, Meri, and Janelle made the idea of everyone getting together seem impossible, to put it mildly.

Kody comes face to face with all three of his ex-wives at friend’s wedding
Season 19 of Sister Wives has so far dominated in attracting viewers.
All footage shot for this season comes from late 2022, before some of the biggest twists in the Brown family, like Garrison’s death.
We know that all of the parents – Kody, Jenelle, Christine, Meri, and Robyn – were all at her funeral and memorial service. But it turns out, the Browns actually found themselves together before that, thankfully under different circumstances.
The third episode of season 19 begins with Cody and company discussing a mutual friend’s wedding. Everyone is invited, and everyone is nervous.
It will be the first time all five adults have been together since Isbell’s graduation party a year and a half ago. Many children have also been invited.
“I wish things weren’t like this,” Jenelle admitted in her confessional before the ceremony. Kody had initially planned not to attend the wedding, hoping to avoid further “bullshit talking” from Christine and Janelle. Finally, he sucks it up and leaves.
Christine shared her plan of attack from the beginning. “Ignore each other and pretend like you don’t exist.”
Janelle calls the evening “weird”; She admits that she had a conversation with Meri, although brief, and at one point Kody stopped her to say “hi”. But the matter never went further than this.
“It’s obviously over,” Jenelle explains, as Kody insists the family is battling a “civil war.”
Christine and Robin face off over Mykelti’s birth
There seems to be a lot of focus on children this season. Perhaps this is on the part of the producers, knowing that the conversation among fans right now is about Kody’s relationship with his older children.
The majority of the episode was spent with all the moms lamenting that their kids don’t have a good relationship with Cody. Well, except Robin. Her children are young and still living with her, yet her focus is on him.
It’s so much so that Kody actually says he’s happy to have “loyalty” from Robyn’s kids, but not from his older kids. But honestly, whose fault is it? As Christine and Mary explain, when Robyn entered the picture, there was a feeling among other children and families that they were no longer special and were no longer welcome in Robyn’s home.
“From the very beginning, they knew their father wouldn’t be with them forever,” Janelle explains.
But whatever rift exists between him and his kids, Kody is sure it can be easily fixed.
What I’m thinking is that time goes on and it just takes a phone call every now and then that these relationships will come back and then I’ll be in full fellowship with my kids again,” Cody says. The thing is, he’s not the one calling. He is expecting his children to do the same.
It’s gotten to the point where Robin is reaching out to children from other wives to rebuild bridges. But she has failed so far.
Except Mykelti. Robyn and Mykelti have remained very close over the years. So much so, that when it came time to give birth to her babies, Mykelti wanted her mom and Robyn there.
To Christine’s credit, she makes no effort to fight it. She also smiles with Robin in photos shared from the day.
But later, in her confessional, she emphasizes that nothing can mend their broken family. Meanwhile, Robin started crying bitterly.
“For a moment I could forget all that,” she says of that happy day.
