Not all Kylie fans adore everyone in her orbit. Or praise them, for that matter.

Of course, Kylie is far from the only model in the family.
She has modeled for several shoots, including a showcase for her makeup line. And, for many years, she has used her influential position, modeling products, for massive, easy paydays. (And the criticism came when some of those products are, well, a little questionable.)
Khloe models her clothes. Courtney Model. Kim once made a splash on the internet by modeling. And Kendall Jenner, Kylie’s slightly older sister, is an international supermodel.
Kendall poses Miu Miu recently. It was a subdued, understated photoshoot with a clearly minimalist approach.
Over the years, people have accused Kendall that she didn’t deserve supermodel status. Being hot but not skilled enough to work the camera or runway at that level of the industry.
And critics are arguing that Kendall’s latest shoot is not only further proof of that… but it also highlights Kylie as the “true model” among the Kar-Jenner clan.
People have accused Kendall’s photos of being “painfully awful”.
As people examine one sister and then the other, they find Kendall lacking in comparison.
Kylie’s fans are declaring her the more “talented” model of the two.
“Kylie is a talented model I don’t care what anyone says,” wrote one of her stans.
Another declared that Kylie was “eating Kendall for breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
and a third praised that “Kylie [is] One of the models from Kardashian Fashion.
All this praise from Kylie cost Kendall dearly. At least in terms of how these same people talk about him.
He described Kendall’s photoshoot as nothing short of “painful.”
Another almost apologetically said: “Kendall can’t do modeling I’m sorry..Kylie is better.”
However, even in this day and age, there was some real nuance involved in some of the Jenner sister discourse.
One commenter praised the two of them, citing Kendall’s look “for the runway” while praising Kylie’s “for print” look.
There are many different types of modeling, and there are many different types of photoshoots. Perhaps some critics were mixing apples and oranges.
