Artem Chigvintsev has been a fan favorite on “Dancing With the Stars” for years.
That’s why it was so surprising to hear that on Aug. 29, he was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge. TMZ,
A representative with the Napa County Sheriff’s Office told the outlet that deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a location in the town of Yountville shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday. One arrest was made at the scene, and a few people were reportedly injured.
Sheriff’s deputies said the victim in the case has asked for complete confidentiality.
The dancer’s bail was set at $25,000, according to online records, but there was no immediate information about his release.
Additionally, at the time of reporting it was unclear whether Chigvintsev’s wife, wrestler Nikki Garcia, was involved in the alleged altercation.
The investigation is still going on.

Initially, no statement was issued by Chigvintsev’s representative or Nikki.
However, detectives checking her social media discovered she was in Napa Valley getting a facial the day before her arrest.
The retired professional wrestler will get married in August 2022. In fact, the couple just celebrated their wedding anniversary last Monday.
On their anniversary, there were no signs that any trouble was coming, only love for one another. Nikki posted the lyrics to the Elvis Presley song “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” along with a special message for her husband.
“This song is our love story,” she captioned the Instagram video. “I’ll never forget where I was when I asked Jesus about Artem. Talking to him and God. How quickly my feelings felt. It all felt so quick. And then this song came along.”
“That’s when I realised I was in love with him and it was all meant to be,” she concluded.
In response, Artem wrote: “Happy anniversary my love, I can’t see my life without you.”
