Anna Delvey and her dance partner Ezra Sosa took to the ballroom floor carrying fake high end fashion bags bearing their (fake) initials.
These bags weren’t just for characterization. These props also served as a cover for a big reveal.
One of the conditions of Anna Delvey’s release was that she would have to wear an ankle monitor. And, of course, she would have to get permission from the authorities — in this case, ICE — to participate DWTS,
As soon as the bag was moved out of the way, the camera put the monitor on her ankle on full display.
Anna Delvey’s monitor sparkled a little. It was covered in pink and blue rhinestones, which matched her outfit.

As of right now, she and Ezra have scored 18 points out of 30. That’s not bad for a season opener – but even that might not be enough to save her.
Anna’s first performance criticized by fans
While the judges saw promise in Anna, fans saw contempt and a lack of enthusiasm in Anna. Many vowed to cast their votes elsewhere despite Anna’s technical prowess.
Interestingly, the audience did not seem to mind her dancing or her profanity. In fact, even the ankle bracelet did not seem to bother the audience!
No, fans want her out because of her post-dance interview with the judges – where she almost said she didn’t want to dance anymore!
“She doesn’t want to go there,” one fan wrote on Reddit. “She’s not enthusiastic, her dance was terrible, she’s a criminal, she’s destroyed people’s lives and thinks she’s done nothing wrong. The worst part was that she said she was glad she didn’t have to do that dance again.”
“I was shocked when she said she didn’t want to do that dance again,” another commenter said. “So many people would love to come to the show and enjoy it and she said so. I feel so sorry for Ezra!”
Ultimately, in a subreddit titled, “Anna Delvey deserves to go home first,” the consensus seemed to be that very few people would vote for her to stay in office.
Does Anna want to stay on ‘Dancing With the Stars’?
Despite her comments and fans’ response, Anna Delvey shared on Instagram just how much hard work went into that first dance.
Many viewers don’t fully realize how tough a dance competition can be. It involves a full-body workout. And even Non-ballet Dancing can destroy your feet.
So maybe the Cha-Cha isn’t her thing! Maybe she’s ready to dance something more graceful, less impressive.
