Diddy’s mother accused of sex trafficking claims her son is innocent

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ mother, Janice Smalls Combs, has released a statement in defense of her son as he faces serious allegations of sex trafficking, fraud and sexual abuse.

The rapper and businessman were taken into custody at a Manhattan hotel on Monday, September 16, after being indicted by a grand jury.

“I come to you today as a mother who is devastated and deeply saddened by the allegations made against my son, Shawn Combs. Janice contacted her attorney, Natalie G. “It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a story made up of lies,” he said in a message shared by Figueres.

He continued:

“bear witness [sic] It appears that my son was murdered in public before he even got a chance to prove his innocence, a pain so unbearable that it cannot be expressed in words.

“Like every human being, my son deserves this day in court to finally share his side of the story, and to prove his innocence.”

Didi’s mother explained that she “didn’t come here to paint.” [her] The son is as perfect because he is not,” adding: “He has made mistakes in his past, as we all have” and added:

“My son may not have been completely truthful about some things, such as denying that he had ever been violent with an ex-girlfriend, even though hotel surveillance revealed otherwise.”

In fact, in May, CNN obtained surveillance footage from 2016 in which Diddy grabbed Cassie Ventura outside an elevator… threw her to the ground… and kicked her multiple times.

“It’s so hard to reflect on the worst times of your life,” Combs then said in response, adding via Instagram:

“Sometimes you have to do that. I was very upset. I mean I’ve hit rock bottom but I don’t make any excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable.

“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.”

Meanwhile, as part of the indictment against Diddy, authorities say the mogul organized “freak offs” or “elaborate sexual performances” during which women were “forced through force, threats of force, and coercion.” “In order to induce victims to have long-term sexual relations with male commercial sex workers.”

According to this legal document, 1,000 bottles of baby oil were among the supply seized from Diddy’s homes by authorities earlier this year.

Authorities accused Didi of arranging, directing, masturbating, and often “electronically recording” the freak-offs – as well as transporting commercial sex workers “across state lines and internationally.”

Absolutely disgusting and horrible in every way.

Back to Janice, who proceeded as follows:

“Sometimes, truth and lies become so closely intertwined that it becomes scary to accept part of the story, especially when that truth is outside the norm or too complex to be believed.

“This is why I believe my son’s civil legal team chose to settle the ex-girlfriend’s lawsuit rather than fight it to the end, resulting in an adverse impact because the federal government filed a lawsuit against my son This decision was interpreted as an admission of guilt.

“Not being completely clear on an issue does not mean that my son is guilty of the despicable allegations and serious charges leveled against him.

“Many persons who were wrongfully convicted and later acquitted were deprived of their liberty, not because they were guilty of the crimes with which they were charged, but because they Did not fit the image of what this society considers as a ‘good person’. ,

And he concluded:

“To see the world making fun and laughing at my son’s life crumbling before our eyes is something I will never forget. It is really sad to see the world turn against my son so quickly and easily because of lies and misunderstandings, without listening to his side or giving him a chance to present his side.

“These lies thrown at him are motivated by those seeking financial gain, not justice. These individuals saw how quickly my son’s civil legal team settled his ex-girlfriend’s lawsuit, so they believe they can get a quick payday by falsely accusing my son.

“False allegations of sexual assault prevent true victims of sexual violence from getting the justice they deserve.”

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to the charges after being denied bail twice. He was sent to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until his trial.
