Devin Strader is here to tell his story.

And he doesn’t seem to be particularly proud of that.

Last week, Jane Tran criticized Strader after the Bachelorette lead proposed to her chosen winner on the show’s season finale.

Strader breaks off the couple’s engagement.

“He basically said he didn’t love me anymore and he didn’t feel the same way and he felt like something was wrong,” Tran said on the After the Final Rose special. “He regretted getting engaged and I had no idea.”

Strader didn’t argue much on the air.

but he Did Text messages were later revealed that were intended to prove Tran Too wanted to break up with her, and he actually tried to leave Jane in person.

Meanwhile, on Sept. 10, Strader released a 13-minute video on Instagram in which he acknowledged that “a lot of people are angry at me right now.”

However, the applicant said he wanted to use the opportunity to “give a little more context to the situation,” as well as “take responsibility and apologize for some of the things I didn’t say.”

Strader said he was “forced” to break up with Tran over the phone because Jane asked him to call because of the status of their relationship.

“I did apologise, and she was the only one who needed an apology at that point of time,” he said in the video.

“I realised I made a mistake and I am sorry. Looking back, I did not realise that I had made the wrong decision and that I should not have played with people’s emotions, especially when it comes to their feelings.”

Strader also admitted he made a mistake by following Maria Georgas on social media this summer.

“I think I followed her the week of August 14th. I followed a lot of Bachelor Nation accounts. But, still, it was a bad decision on my part,” Devin said in the footage.

“I shouldn’t follow people I have no relationship with. I don’t know Maria, I’ve never met Maria, I’ve never met Maria, and I will never follow Maria.

“I know I hurt Jane… I just came here to apologize to her, so I’m sorry.”

Throughout his video, Strader included alleged text messages between Tran and him, sharing details of their romance, describing happier times … from their breakup to a short conversation they had after The Bachelorette special.

Strader explained why he did this, “I don’t want to denigrate Jane in any way.”

“I don’t want to attack him in any way or say anything negative about him. All I’m trying to show here is that this was a two-way relationship, and I think we can both be held responsible for that.”

Strader insisted that he believed the two exes had a “good relationship” until they took the stage after The Bachelorette finale … and Tran made her feelings clear in front of Jesse Palmer and millions of viewers.

Strader directly addressed his former fiancée on Instagram this week, saying, “I am truly sorry for the way things turned out. My intention was never to hurt you, and I apologize for any of that hurt.”
