Olympian Stefan Nedorosik, also known as the ‘Pommel Horse Guy,’ is the first star cast this season

It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s… Clark Kent!

U.S. Olympic medalist Stephen Nedorowski is the first celebrity announced for Season 33 of the reality competition show.

Nedorosik, known as the “Pommel Horse Guy,” won hearts at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games as part of the U.S. men’s gymnastics team, which won its first team medal (bronze) in 16 years. The 25-year-old athlete also won an individual bronze medal on the pommel horse.

So who will she be paired with in this film? And when will we get to know about the full cast? Well…

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 33 cast: When will ABC announce?

In the fan community, several names are coming up for contestants in this upcoming season. Some are looking forward to seeing Jesse McCartney. The Masked SingerThe early 2000s pop star has shown she is open to reality TV and that it would be a good fit for her.

Some other names doing the rounds include recent Bachelors Joey Graxiadei and Gerry Turner, as well as other reality stars like Sutton Stracke and Parvati Shallow.

But there’s one name that keeps coming up again and again, even among DWTS pros: Tom Sandoval.

Yes, after his ex-girlfriend Ariana Maddox came in third place in season one, there are rumors that Tom could do the same in season 33.

Artem Chigvintsev will not return to ‘DWTS’ after arrest

On August 29, the longtime professional dancer and her partner Artem Chigvintsev were arrested. They were charged with domestic violence in Napa, California.

It is still unclear who he is accused of attacking; apparently he is accused of attacking his wife, former pro-wrestler Nikki Garcia. However, no statement has been released to confirm this.

The couple actually met on DWTS when Nikki participated in season 25.

Since his arrest, it has been confirmed that Artem will not be returning for season 33. However, according to People Magazine, this decision was made before his arrest. He was not fired due to the incident.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ judges: Who’s returning this season?

Have no fear. Even though the dance floor may look different, the panel of judges will be familiar and welcoming!

Judges Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Derek Hough will all reach for their judging paddles this season.

Co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are also expected to return.

When does ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 33 air?

ABC’s popular competition show will officially premiere on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. While we don’t know all the details, some spoilers have already leaked.

For example, fans on Reddit reported that producers are already hard at work developing theme nights, which will likely include the return of Disney Night.

What about the David and Victoria Beckham rumor?

Yes, that one!

There’s a theory going around the internet that Victoria and David Beckham will be working together. Dancing with the Stars in Season 33. Again, no official announcement has been made on casting. Still, this isn’t a crazy idea.

Especially because DWTS veteran and judge Derek Hough has caused a stir with a post on his Instagram.

She posted a video of herself dancing with Beckham. In her caption, she got straight to the point. She captioned the photo, “Are @davidbeckham and @victoriabeckham getting ready for @dancingwiththestars? What do you two think of couples salsa night?”

I wouldn’t say ‘no’ to this!

Who won the last season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’?

Last season, Marvel star Xochitl Gomez was paired with Val Chmerkovskiy. The couple won all the awards and took home The Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

Jason Mraz and his partner Daniela Karagach finished second, while Ariana Madix and her partner Pasha Pashkov finished third.

Season 33 Dancing with the Stars will return this fall on ABC, Disney+, and Hulu.
