Collin Gosselin has made some shocking new allegations of abuse against his mother.
In a new interview, Collin alleges that Kate Gosselin locked him in the basement with “zip-ties” when he was a kid.
Collin was discharged from the Marines earlier this year.
And he blamed the incident on hurtful comments made by his mother.
Now, he’s responding with some pretty shocking allegations of his own.

“My mom built a room in an unfinished part of our storage basement,” the 20-year-old said. Sun,
“He had a room built with cameras, there was a small window in the corner and it was locked from outside.”
Collin described this area as a “restraint room.” He claimed, “It had a mattress on the floor, and that was how I lived.”
“When my mother took me to that room many times, she would tie my hands and feet with ziplocks, close the door, turn off the lights and set up cameras to keep an eye on me,” Collin added.

Collin’s father, Jon Gosselin, has long been critical of his ex-wife, Kate.
He also talked about Sun He claimed he was not aware of Kate’s alleged abusive behavior until he gained custody of their daughter Hannah.
“The room in the basement where he kept Collin is still there,” John claimed.
“My friend’s in-laws bought our house. And one time they asked me ‘Why is there a room in the basement with a bed and it’s locked from the outside?'”

Kate has not personally responded to the allegations.
But his lawyer, Richard Puleo, has denied that he ever “intentionally” harmed Collin.
Puleo explains Sun that he “did everything he could to protect himself and his family” from his son’s “disturbing behavior.”
In July 2023, Kate told People The magazine reported that Colin was a “very troubled young man.” It reported that he had a “history of unpredictable behavior and violent tendencies.”
,[He] He has had to undergo psychiatric evaluations several times over the past few years. … Colin’s distorted perception of reality is one of the many problems he has always struggled with,” Kate alleged.
Leaving his military career behind, Collin is now planning to attend college.
