Very sad news from the entertainment world today:

Kodi Longo, best known for his roles in Days of Our Lives and Hollywood Heights, has passed away.

He was 34 years old.

“Cody was our whole world. The kids and I are shattered and devastated,” the actor’s wife, Stephanie, said late Friday.

“He was the best father and the best father. We will miss and love you forever and ever.”

According to Representative Alex Gittleson, Longo was found dead at his Austin, Texas home on Wednesday; No cause of death has been announced.

“My heart breaks for his beautiful family,” Gittleson said of Longo.

“He took some time off from acting to pursue music and spend more time with his family in Nashville, but we’ve been in regular contact and he’s excited to get back to acting this year.”

“Cody was a loyal, loving and talented man and he will be greatly missed,” Gittleson said.

Longo portrayed Nicholas Allman – the son of Carly Manning (Crystal Chappell) – on Days of Our Lives in 2011 for eight episodes.

He also appeared in Hollywood Heights, Make It or Break It, and the ABC drama Nashville.

In addition to acting, Longo released the tracks “She Said” and “Electric”.

In January 2021, Longo pleaded guilty to charges of raping a 9-year-old girl in Colorado in 2019, according to Clarksville Now.

He was also arrested in January 2020 and charged with a Class 4 felony, sexual assault on a child, according to court records obtained by the outlet … though the federal charges were later dropped.

At the time of his November arrest for domestic violence, his attorney released a statement regarding the sexual assault allegation of a child, saying:

“The overwhelming evidence clearly refutes and refutes the allegations in the affidavit.

“In addition to the evidence of innocence set forth in the affidavit as actual, not abstract, in the interview, the additional evidence completely exonerates him.”

Longo is survived by his wife and three children.
