On Thursday morning, nearly two months after her relationship with David Woolley went public, Christine Brown came out and went public with another important piece of personal information:
She is now engaged to David Woolley!
“David popped the question in a very romantic way, and I said yes! I’m so excited and just living every day!” wrote the Sister Wives star on Instagram.
Brown included the above photo of the couple with the announcement.
The mother of six also spoke to People Magazine about the life-changing decision.
“David treats me like a queen and tells me I’m beautiful everyday,” Christine told the outlet.
“I have never been in love like this before and the world seems like a brighter place with her.
“I am so excited for the amazing adventure we are about to embark on for the rest of our lives.”
Christine, of course, rose to television fame as one of Cody Brown’s four sister wives.
She was not legally married to Cody Brown, but ended their spiritual union in November 2021 after getting sick and tired of her needs and feelings being ignored by the polygamist reality star.
Just over a year later, Christine begins dating Woolley, a widower with eight children of his own who owns a construction company.
Brown isn’t shy about her very strong feelings for Woolley.
He introduced her as his “soulmate” on Valentine’s Day and added via Instagram at the time:
“I finally found the love of my life, David. The first time he held me, it felt like my soul took its first breath.
“He’s amazing and kind, incredible with my kids and a loving grandpa. I never dreamed I could find love like this.”
We’ve often seen Christine and David refer to each other as the Queen and the King, respectively, over the past several weeks.
“I cannot express enough how amazing it is to have David in my life,” the TLC personality wrote via Instagram on Sunday, March 12, for a recent example.
He added a month ago:
“He’s an incredible man and he treats me like his queen.”
Meanwhile, over the past few weeks, Christine has spent time with David’s family while he just returned from a road trip with his fiancée and their youngest daughter.
“Life is short, why not take a wonderful weekend getaway for some fun new adventures,” Christine wrote in a previous Instagram caption.
“I love having a companion to go on these fun new adventures with. We couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous views.
“Utah is a beautiful place, with so many secrets to explore.”
Cody Brown has yet to comment on Kristin officially moving on, but Janelle Brown left a simple comment on her friend’s Instagram page after Kristin confirmed the engagement.
“Hurray!” it reads.
