Chase Chrisley now has a few similarities with his father:
Both have spent time behind bars.
On Thursday night, the Growing Up Chrisley cast member was taken into custody for allegedly slapping a bartender in Georgia just days earlier.
According to TMZ, Chase was booked into the Fulton County Jail on January 9 for simple battery. Shortly thereafter he posed for a mug shot and was then released on $10,000 bond.
Police told the aforementioned entertainment news outlet that the misdemeanor charge stems from an incident that happened at a “Twin Peaks” bar on Monday … in which Chase got involved with the salon’s manager, someone named Brandon Nash.
Based on 911 audio recordings obtained by TMZ, Nash asked the dispatcher for police assistance while he repeatedly told someone – Chase, we can only assume – No To touch him.
Nash also says on this call that the drunk and aggressive suspect attacked him with a chair… and then we can actually hear Nash slapping.
Chrisley eventually left the premises, but was then arrested Thursday evening.
The 28-year-old is the son of Todd and Julie Chrisley, both of whom were convicted of bank and tax fraud in 2022.
The husband and wife have reportedly not spoken for over a year while they are in jail.
Todd has stated on several occasions that he is being mistreated as a ward of the state.
The former USA Network personality himself called NewsNation about a year ago and told the network that the food being served to inmates at the prison was “disgustingly dirty” and “at least a year old.”
They claimed that the storage facility where the food is kept is infested with rats and squirrels… and that the roof had to be removed due to black mold.
“They found a dead cat in the ceiling [that] Fell on food,’ Chrisley claimed at the time.
For his part, Chase appeared on Growing Up Chrisley with his sister Savannah from 2019 to 2022 and was also featured on Chrisley Knows Best, which brought Todd and Julie to stardom.
