Nick Singleton enjoys playing at Penn State
In his statement, Nick Singleton shared the pride he feels in wearing the blue and white. The sentiment may have influenced his decision to return for another season despite his high potential in the draft.

“I’ve been very lucky to play for Coach (James) Franklin, Coach (Ja’Juan) Seider and the rest of this incredible coaching staff. The guys in that running back room, along with the rest of my teammates, are men I will cherish forever. It has been a privilege to play with those guys, and they mean a lot to me, the family atmosphere in the Lasch building is real.”
Nick Singleton has been an important player for Penn State since his arrival. He made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2022, rushing for 1,061 yards and 12 touchdowns. In his second season in 2023, he accumulated 752 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.
After another solid performance in his junior season, Singleton’s decision to return provides Penn State with a crucial offensive asset for next season. Without a doubt, his presence will strengthen the team’s running game and the overall offensive dynamic.
