Producer prices in Canada rose 0.4% in January from December on higher prices for refined petroleum energy products as well as non-ferrous metal primary products, Statistics Canada said on Friday.
The increase followed an upwardly revised decline of 0.9% in December. Commodity prices fell 0.1% in January and increased 1.2% for the year.
