As previously speculated, Brittany Mahomes may or may not file for divorce from Patrick Mahomes someday.
But regardless of her status with the universe’s best quarterback, a new report says Britney is seriously rethinking her relationship with Donald Trump.
As you may have heard, Mahomes is on Team MAGA.
He has made this clear through several social media posts.
Last week, when Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for president, Trump reacted in his typically dispassionate and restrained fashion.
He said Swift would “pay a price” for the decision, and later wrote in all caps online, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
It was a very appropriate response for someone contesting for the highest office in the country.
Now, according to The Daily Mail , Mahomes is “questioning his support for Donald Trump” following the comments, given how close Travis has become to Britney Taylor in the wake of his long-term relationship with Kelsey.
The two are often seen hugging each other and spending time in a luxury suite while watching a professional football match of the Kansas City Chiefs.
“This really upsets Britney because Taylor is like a sister to her and she hasn’t done anything wrong,” a source told the aforementioned newspaper, referring to Swift’s support for Harris and adding:
“She did not mention Trump in her post and she is allowed to say her piece.”
A sensible person can agree with this.
But few observers consider Donald Trump reasonable.
The insider added, “She doesn’t believe in any kind of hate and loves Taylor very much. This shook her to her core.”
“This doesn’t mean she’s suddenly voting for Kamala. This has made her more conscious of the support she has [Trump] So publicly.”
In August, Mahomes liked Trump’s social media accounts, which detailed his policies on topics ranging from immigration to the economy.
After receiving a lot of backlash for doing so, Britney responded to her critics like this:
“I’m honest, to hate as an adult you have to have some deep-rooted issues that you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason why your brain is fully developed and you shouldn’t like to see others do well.”
