Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has yet to make a decision about what’s next in his NFL career.
The four-time league MVP is contemplating a trade from the Packers, retire or return to the team for another season.
He finished his three day darkness retreat last Wednesday that was supposed to help him make up his mind.

Analyst and talk show host Colin Cowherd recently spoke about the Packers’ QB situation on his show. He thinks Rodgers’ teammates in Green Bay are unhappy.

“QBs get paid more. You can’t hit them in practice. I’m not saying teammates resent them, but it’s the most prime position in the league. I wonder about Aaron Rodgers’ teammates sitting there thinking, Brother, just make a decision.
“We can’t beat you in practice anymore. You’re the highest paid. You get all the endorsements… Do you think it can turn into a situation where even if you like him, there might be resentment for him?” him keeping everyone in line after a while?”
Green Bay Packers reportedly want Aaron Rodgers to return in 2023
There have been conflicting rumors about the Packers and Rodgers. Some reports have suggested the Packers are ready to part with Rodgers, while others say they’d like him back as their quarterback this season.
NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero said on “The Rich Eisen Show” that the Packers do want him back.
Pelissero said:
“If he wants to come back to Green Bay, the Packers, as long as he’s fully convinced, they want him back. They had good talks after the season. In the final stretch of last season, he played at a high level. He kept them in it.
“Obviously, Week 18 didn’t go the way they wanted. There would also need to be more conversations to make sure everyone is on the same page about the direction the roster and organization are going.”
Aaron Rodgers had a ‘down’ year last year, going 8-9 as the Packers’ starting quarterback and missing the playoffs. He averaged a career low in passing yards per game (228.1).
The 39-year-old played well down the stretch of the season and is still worthy of leading the Packers in a championship run.
