A member of the Anoa’i family reveals why The Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony never took place on WWE RAW

Bloodline’s Recognition Ceremony was scheduled for WWE RAW is XXX, but the segment never took place. Samu Anoa’i recently revealed why the segment was removed.

The segment was replaced by The Trial of Sami Zayn, and the segment kicked off the RAW 30th Anniversary show. WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns was ready to take Sami Zayn out of the pack, but Jey Uso surprisingly defended The Honorary Uce. Unfortunately, Zayn’s time in the faction came to an end this past Saturday night at the WWE Royal Rumble.

speaking in the Two man wrestling power trip podcast, Samu Anoa’i said that he was going to be a part of the Recognition Ceremony, but that all had to be put on the back burner due to health issues.

“As far as I know, yes. [we were all going to be part of the The Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony at WWE Raw 30]. It was supposed to be Rikishi, me, my dad, my uncle, to name a few, and my dad couldn’t fly at the time and Rikishi had pneumonia at the time, so it all kind of took a backseat,” Samu Anoa said. . Samu wishes that his son could be part of The Bloodline in WWE

Samu Anoa’i praised The Bloodline and what they have been able to achieve on television of late.

Roman Reigns successfully defended the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Kevin Owens in the main event of Royal Rumble 2023. After the event, Sami Zayn attacked Reigns after The Tribal Chief forced him to the limit. Jey Uso was distraught over Zayn’s betrayal and refused to participate in The Honorary Uce’s eventual beating.

Samu pointed at the two man power trip podcast that he is proud of The Bloodline but hopes the company will sign his son, Lance Anoa’i, in the future. Lance is currently under contract with MLW.

“Proud to be able to see these children [The Bloodline] do your thing I am proud to be here. I hope one day they will take courage and put my son there too. Lance [Anoa’i], he’s been busting his ass… He’s been in the ring since he was five years old. But everyone has his turn, so he’s still in the shadows waiting for his turn. He’s still doing it, he’s still doing what he loves,” Samu added. [H/T Post Wrestling]
