About six weeks ago, social media users feared the worse.
Due to suspicious activity on Britney Spears’ Instagram account, a rumor began to circulate that something terrible had happened to the artist.
Thankfully, this was only speculation and Spears was absolutely fine at the time.
However, now? Those close to the singer in particular have new reasons to be very concerned about Spears’ well-being.
According to TMZ’s sources, the mother of two has struggled with her mental health and substance abuse… to the point that friends and loved ones planned an intervention this week.
An anonymous insider also told TMZ the following of the world-renowned icon:
i am afraid she is going to die,
We don’t have any specific examples of Britney’s behavior to back up such a disturbing claim.
However, TMZ quotes individuals with “direct knowledge” of Spears who have “been concerned by her erratic, erratic behavior.”
This celebrity gossip website says the superstar is allegedly taking drugs that “promote him.”
As a result, sources say she has been escalating regularly — and is not taking the medications needed to stabilize her.
TMZ therefore reports that the plan was implemented on Tuesday in response to these fears and similar abuse.
The singer’s manager is believed to have rented a house in Los Angeles and plans to bring Britney there … at which time she will be confronted by husband Sam Asghari, an interventionist, and doctors.
They will try and convince Britney that she needs help, recommending she stay in this house for the next two months while receiving medical treatment and psychological counseling.
For those wondering, no:
Britney’s children were not involved in the plan.
So what?
Britney became “somewhat aware” of the interference and had to end it.
But these same sources claim that Britney agreed to meet with some sort of doctor on Wednesday afternoon and for what it’s worth and whatever that means, it “went well.”
No one associated with the artist has commented on this report yet.
In mid-January, TMZ went public with a story of Britney acting manic at a restaurant, gambling inconsolably before being escorted away from the scene.
The troubled star, of course, was in a guardianship controlled by her father for 13 years.
As part of this examination, Speakes was involuntarily committed to the hospital on two separate occasions for alleged mental health issues.
When the conservatorship was finally overturned by a judge in November 2021, no medical evaluation was ordered for Spears.
At this point, we can only wish her the best going forward and we can only hope she gets any help she really needs.
