Peter Madrigal never became a full-time cast member on Vanderpump Rules, which may be the ultimate compliment.
The most common theory as to why Peter has remained on the fringes of the Wander-verse is that the producers believe he is too intelligent and well-adjusted to associate with the sociopaths who made the show famous.
Anyway, like the rest of the cast, Madrigal appears to have been heavily influenced by the Tom Sandoval-Raquel Lewis affair.
In fact, he is rightfully angry, as he claims that Raquel hit him up along the way so that she could use him as a romantic decoy in the early days of their illicit romance.
While appearing on Kristen Doute’s “Sex, Love, and What Else Matters” podcast this week, Madrigal revealed that she had doubts about Tom and Raquel months before their news went public.
“I got an interesting text from one Tom Sandoval,” Peter said of the fallout of his date with Lewis.
“He hasn’t texted me in six months and then he texts me and he says, and I’m like, ‘Dude! Just watched the first episode LOL! Did you bang Raquel the night after SELF! ? [Crying laughing face emoji],
Peter pointed out that the emoji was the ultimate tip-off.
“If you look at my text messages with Tom Sandoval, he never sent me emojis. Never does,” Madrigal said.
“At that point, I was so disconnected, I didn’t even think about it. All I’m thinking is, ‘How are they portraying me on the show?’ So, I call him. He was all like, ‘Oh, no, I was just wondering if you banged Raquel that night,'” Madrigal continued.
“I don’t know why. He replied, like, ‘Uh.’ And now I know why. She was already dating Tom Sandoval.’
“She was already having sex with Tom. And that text message from her proves it.
Peter was clearly shocked by Raquel’s rejection, but he now realizes that it was all for the best.
“I’m glad I dodged a bullet named Rachel,” Madrigal said.
“I have proof, I was made a scapegoat.”
Madrigal may be a bit confrontational here, as he seems to be way off the hook for not being interested in a woman if she was already involved with someone else.
Although this might help explain why Raquel burst into tears on their first date.
Anyway, another new tidbit about Sandoval and Lewis seems to indicate that these two were a lot more than just fk friends for way longer than we thought.
According to a new report from TMZ, Tom brought Raquel home to visit his family over the Christmas holidays.
Ariana wasn’t on hand for the trip, and when friends criticized Sandoval for such a bold move, he explained that he and Maddix had already “basically” broken up.
Seems like he should have informed Ariana of that development!
