It is not easy to steal attention from Donald Trump.
Especially not on the day he is sworn in as President of the United States (for the second time) and not on the day he issues pardons for individuals convicted of assault over police resolutions on January 6, 2021.
But Lauren Sanchez definitely tried it last Monday!
Sanchez, the fiancee of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, was on stage with other very wealthy people when Trump was inaugurated in Washington DC on January 20.
As you can see above and below, she wore a low-cut top that caught the attention of many social media users – as well as many well-known names.
“Generally their outfits are well liked but the inauguration was a disaster. The dress looked useless. I think Lauren has more class in general, wrote one critic on Instagram, for example.
Heck, even Fox News journalist Megyn Kelly criticized the look on air during an episode of her eponymous SiriusXM show, saying:
“Have some dignity and some respect for your situation in your circumstances. No one should talk about your t-ts. Apologize. They should talk about the inauguration.”
However, Sanchez doesn’t seem too bothered by the criticism.
She’s gone on record over the past few days and liked various comments, like: “Girl you ate that opening look, don’t pay attention to the haters.”
Elsewhere, another post assured Lauren that the only opinion that “matters” is that of Amazon’s president, adding, “That girl.”
Even Kris Jenner complimented Lauren’s Starlight Ball ballgown look, writing along with multiple orange heart emojis, “Fantastic!!!”
Similarly, when it came to Lauren’s fashion choices, Brooks Nader had this to say: “Belle of the ball!”
Finally, Sanchez gave a like to a fan who wrote about her bold outfit:
“You are truly an inspiration to me and I’m sure to many women.”
We’re not entirely sure why this would be the case, but, who are we to judge?!?
