Jon Moxley was recently involved in another controversial segment on AEW Collision. A WWE veteran has harshly criticized the same.
Jim Cornette was the latest to speak out about Jon Moxley’s recent antics. Since Moxley formed the Death Riders, he has waged war throughout the locker room to return AEW to its glory days. They have attacked anyone who dared to get in their way. A few weeks ago, Mox and his group attacked FTR backstage. When Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood returned to face the stable at Worlds End, they brought Adam Copeland with them, starting this feud.
This also meant that anyone close to Rated FTR would also be targeted by Mox and his team. Last week at Collision, FTR was backstage with Rock N’ Roll Express, who made a special appearance on the show. After their match, cameras headed to the backstage area where the Purveyor of Violence had tied up the legends.
The Outrunners attempted to save them but were ambushed by the Death Riders. By the time Rated FTR got back, Mox and his group were gone. Jim Cornette talked about this segment in the latest episode of his The experience podcast. The WWE veteran trashed the entire segment, calling it fake and even questioning its mentality.
“So now, they didn’t even have a cliffhanger. Well, Moxley stole Rock n’ Roll and he’s bringing them back to Knoxville. You have to come see Rock n’ Roll in Knoxville come back or they’ll leave.” Will he come back or will he kill them, throw them off the Gay Street Bridge into the fucking Tennessee River? There’s not even anything that makes the people of Knoxville say, ‘Let’s go see what this is like?’ It’s going to come out.” It was so fake. What’s their mentality there? This would do anything,” he said. [6:20 – 6:57]
