WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce will be in charge of the brand’s new journey on Netflix. While the shift from cable to a streaming platform removes several restrictions from creative focus, it also gives Netflix a lot of negotiating power. Additionally, there is a possibility that the streaming giant will force Pearce to bring Brock Lesnar back to the red brand.
The Beast Incarnate was last seen in WWE at SummerSlam 2023, where he lost to Cody Rhodes, ending a very heated feud. At this time, Lesnar is not part of any ongoing storylines in the Stamford-based promotion after Janel Grant seemingly alluded to him in the lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon. However, to increase its audience and ratings, Netflix could demand that the company bring back Brock Lesnar.
This would put pressure on Adam Pearce, who is already dealing with several rogue Superstars on RAW. In addition, the General Manager already has a history with the 47-year-old fighter, who had punished him after receiving an indefinite suspension.
Interestingly, Triple H said in an interview a few months ago that WWE is open to working with Brock Lesnar. He also noted that The Beast Incarnate was home and could return whenever he wanted. While this scenario is very possible, this is all speculation so far.
Adam Pearce may book Brock Lesnar with two reigning WWE champions
Brock Lesnar is a very versatile and explosive wrestler who has been used by the company to decimate other superstars and subdue them. While he ended Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship run in just a few seconds, he also helped elevate Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
If Brock Lesnar returns, Adam Pearce can face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. The Ring General is already looking to be a better wrestler after his loss to The American Nightmare at Crown Jewel. Therefore, The Beast Incarnate could be the perfect candidate to further assert his dominance.
Adam Pearce also has the Intercontinental Champion, Bron Breakker, who could face Brock Lesnar. The 27-year-old always complains that Pearce never offers him opponents worthy of his caliber. Therefore, The Beast Incarnate would be a great test for The Hound. Especially when the former Universal Champion already defeated Breakker in seconds, as did Kofi Kingston.
In addition, the two-time IC champion was also the man who replaced Paul Heyman at the Royal Rumble 2024. Hence, The Incarnate Beast already has a pending account with Breakker. It would be interesting to see if and when Adam Pearce brings Lesnar back to RAW.
