As it turns out, there’s apparently no such thing as true love.
What else can we gain from the following discouraging news:
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are breaking up.
According to TMZ and other celebrity gossip outlets, the recently separated Alba and Warren are on the verge of filing for an actual divorce.
Astute observers have recently noticed that neither Alba nor Warren have worn their wedding rings in public over the past few weeks, leading to speculation over their marital status.
The couple were last photographed together on November 10 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, when they sat courtside for a Lakers game.
They appeared on the red carpet of an event the night before, as seen here:
Alba and Warren met in 2004 in Vancouver on the set of the superhero film Fantastic Four, in which the actress played Sue Storm and Warren worked as an assistant to the director.
The pair then married each other in May 2008 and have three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, as well as son Hayes, 7.
Most recently, Alba and Warren came together for their youngest child’s birthday, to help celebrate Hayes turning seven this month.
In a cryptic message on New Year’s Eve, Alba wrote that her 2024 was “full of connection, growth, adventure, laughter, peace, sisterhood, change, rebirth, happiness and lots of love.”
You can make it with whatever you want.
Alba and Warren also celebrated Thanksgiving with their children by gathering for the holiday in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
“From me and mine to you and yours, Happy #Thanksgiving 🫶🏽🤎,” the actress captioned a family photo posted on Instagram. “Sending lots of love and light.”
Fast forward to Christmas and another group shot from Alba, this also included a message that read:
“Our family wishes you happy holidays.”
In July 2021, Alba opened up about parenting responsibilities and her marriage in a chat on Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt’s Instagram series Before, During & After Baby.
“Everything is good for two and a half years. But then you become roommates,” Alba said, laughing.
“You’re just going through the motions. You have responsibilities; It’s a lot like checking boxes, isn’t it?”
Hmmmm. Maybe there were warning signs at the time, huh?
It’s unclear whether Alba and Warren have a prenuptial agreement, but it seems relevant for this reason: Alba previously launched The Honest Company, which has become a billion-dollar company.
