In this former reality star’s opinion, she would also like to share her feelings on the franchise that helped make her famous – and how far it has fallen.

Last Saturday, in a TikTok video that has now been deleted, Frankel addressed the brand new cast that Bravo introduced to The Real Housewives of New York City this year.

Frankel, citing reaction videos shared via TikTok, said the reboot is “invisible”, adding: “Justice for Sonja [Morgan]Dorinda [Medley]luan [de Lesseps]Ramona [Singer],

This would be the list of experienced stars who got the pink-slip in exchange for Jenna Lyons, Jessel Tank, Brian Whitfield, Sai De Silva, Erin Lichty and Ubah Hassan.

“They were ride or die. That show was behind them and all of a sudden they were all replaced,” Bethenny continued, referring to the old cast members, who were axed in 2022 after 13 seasons.

“They were all sitting on the shelf like in Toy Story, hoping someone would come over to play with them.”

Bethenny also alleged that “too much money was spent on new cast members,” believing that the money was not well spent.

,[The original cast] Have always been like stepchildren. They have always been abandoned. “I know how much money they had to pay, I know the demotion, the budget, the premiere budget,” Bethenny said in her video.

The Skinnygirl founder explained it as follows, trying to make it clear that she wasn’t taking personal shots:

“The new girls, I’m sure they’re cute. I haven’t seen the show. I’m really sure they’re cute. But as these women grew up, they were left on the roadside.”

Earlier this year, McSweeney sued Andy Cohen and Bravo, claiming that the network preyed on her alcohol addiction, that Andy maintained a group of favorite housewives and a toxic work environment.

The last few months have been bad in more ways than one as far as this franchise is concerned.

“You got about 200,000 viewers watching this piece of garbage. So, go get the old girls and dust them off and mix them up. Humble pie is coming in hot,” Frankel said over the weekend.

Bethenny helped launch this version of The Real Housewives in 2008, starring in seasons 1 through 3. She then rejoined the show at the beginning of season 7 and left again after season 11.

In March 2022, Bravo revealed that they would be rebooting the franchise with a new cast after 13 seasons.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 is currently airing Tuesday nights at 9/8c on Bravo.
