WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States has charged a former Indian intelligence officer who allegedly led a foiled plot to assassinate a Sikh separatist in New York City last year, the Washington Post reported on Thursday, citing U.S. officials.

An allegation against Vikash Yadav, a former spy service officer with India’s Research and Analysis Wing, was revealed on Thursday, the newspaper said.
