Guilherme ‘Bomba’ Vasconcelos, former MMA fighter and ex of Demi Lovato, has died at the age of 38.
The cause of Vasconcelos’ death is unknown.
The sad news was shared by the fighter’s heartbroken uncle this morning.
Guilherme’s uncle mourns with fans
“We were looking forward to your visit on Christmas, which will no longer happen,” the uncle wrote on Instagram.
“Life is fleeting, and we woke up to this devastating news. What time are we living in?
“We pray for you! May God, who can do all things, welcome you into his infinite mercy and console all who have always loved you!” He concluded accordingly Sun,
Demi has yet to comment publicly on the situation.
What happened?
It may take a long time for any official statement on the cause of Vasconcelos’ death to emerge. But it appears to have happened suddenly.
Sun And others have noted that the athlete posed for a photo outside a jiu-jitsu training facility less than 24 hours before he died.
He and Demi dated only briefly in late 2017.
The couple was first seen together on New Year’s Eve. By May, they had broken up, telling the press that the relationship had “run its course.”
Vasconcelos reportedly died in Los Angeles, leaving behind a one-year-old daughter.
Demi’s new life
Of course, Demi has faced her own struggles and turmoil in the years since she and Vasconcelos split.
After suffering a near-fatal overdose in 2018, Demi got sober and turned things around.
Last year, she parted ways with controversial manager Scooter Braun and insiders say she’s doing better than ever.
These days Demi is engaged to Jordan “Juts” Lutes.
The couple keeps a low profile, so we don’t know much about their wedding planning process. Hey, we all know they’re already married.
Whatever the case, fans are happy to see Demi doing well after coming so close to a tragic end.
We are sure she is grieving for her ex-husband in her own way and will make a statement or contact his family when the appropriate time comes.
Our thoughts are with the Vasconcelos family as they grieve the loss of such a promising young man.
