Kody Brown has changed.
for the worse.
In a new YouTube livestream with her followers, Mykelti Brown and her husband, Tony, talked in-depth about the Sister Wives patriarch… with the former saying her dad let fame go to his head in every negative sense. Allowed to climb.
“I think parts of him were always like that, but I think the show changed his personality,” Mykelti tells People, referring to the selfish and oblivious man at the center of Sister Wives season 19.
“Fame does that to people. It just transforms you. And having to struggle with your mistakes on TV, having them thrown in your face over and over again for 14 years, it changes you.
Mykeltki further said that Cody did not Always Having been a deadbeat father.
“I think the show changed him a lot, because he wasn’t like that. He was like, ‘I understand, I did wrong. I would like to do better. He was my father. The show has transformed him.”
It may be true, we have never met Kody Brown.
Of course, one could argue that being the only husband of a polygamous family is very self-centered… considering you have multiple women at your service at all times.
While watching last week’s episode of Sister Wives on the same livestream, Mykelti became emotional, explaining that it’s “hard” to see her father behave this way — refusing to admit his mistakes and being mean to his children. Not trying to save relationships. ,
“Was he always like this? I don’t think so,” Tony said. “I think you can clearly see [from early Sister Wives episodes] That he wasn’t like that years ago.”
As Kody continues to be humiliated by his own children, this daughter continues to do the same:
“It’s hard to see that Kody Brown 1729076566Because I don’t recognize that Cody Brown. This is not the Kody Brown I grew up with. that’s cody brown Kody Brown from Sister Wives,
“He’s no Cody Brown, my father. It’s hard to see him having those conversations, those fights and those arguments because I don’t understand…”
This is all really sad.
Especially when Mykeltki can consider a different version of this parent.
“It’s hard to even remember my father as he was when we were little,” he said. “He was very, very involved in our lives before we were old enough to form our own opinions.
“Even at that time, just because there were so many kids, it was hard to give all of us one-on-one individual attention and we knew that. We knew it was hard and dad also worked very hard. He was in sales, so he traveled a lot for work.
Kody said on air this season that he is extremely angry at how bad things have turned out between him and his sons and daughters.
But is he really doing anything about it?!?
Mykelti told fans, “I think if he took more accountability for any of his actions, his kids — maybe not all of them, but at least some of them — would reach out.”
“Instead of blaming the kids, or blaming how they feel about his relationship with his second wife or blaming the parents or the gossips or whatever, if he just Says, ‘Look, I think I did wrong. Can we talk about it?’
“I feel like it would go a long way.”
