Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker welcomed their first child together last year. And of course, we’re thrilled for the couple.
However, some apparently sweet details revealed in the months since have left fans upset.
Now, a growing number of Kourt followers are sounding the alarm — and calling Travis “controlling.”
A while back, we reported that Travis and Kourtney’s baby will likely be named “Rocky.”
Then, just days before welcoming their son, Travis confirmed the news. This is a name they have discussed in the past.
The couple’s first child is named Rocky Thirteen.
Travis likes the name “Rocky” because it is the name of his favorite musician. Specifically, guitarists with suicidal tendencies.
Thirteen is Travis’ favorite number. That makes sense – that’s a big number!
“I love Rocky 13,” he previously told his teenage daughter, Alabama. “That’s the name that’s been running through my mind lately.”
So, that little guy’s name is Rocky Thirteen Barker.
It sounds harmless enough, even though “Rocky” sounds like a name someone would give a puppy. We’ve heard a lot worse.
So what is the matter? Well… it all depends on how all three parts of the name come from only one of the parents.
“Travis is controlling in my opinion,” said one Reddit citizen.
“She’s the one who named her son,” the Redditor argued, “based on her interests.” And not on Courtney.
“I don’t know if Kravis’s fans will start attacking me for this,” the social media user continued, “but it’s a huge red flag.”
“Like Kourtney and Travis both had a wedding based on her mood,” the Reddit user described.
“And,” that Redditor concluded, “Kourtney changed her entire wardrobe to match her style.”
Certainly, we’ve seen Kourtney’s sense of style evolve into a “rocker” vibe. Even in maternity photos.
One commenter said, “Him allowing this kid to be named Rocky Thirteen would confirm to me that he is controlling.”
“Rocky, it’s a thing. Not my feeling, and not the real Kourtney’s feeling, but I could see it,” this second Redditor noted. “Thirteen? Baby, this is no stranger!!!

Another Reddit user worried, “He seems very controlling.” “And the only reason Kourtney accepts it is because he loves her and is devoted to her.”
If you’ll pardon the pun, the months since the baby’s birth have been a bit… tumultuous.
Insiders have suggested that Kourtney’s older children are not fond of Travis.
And there was one incident in which Courtney was forced to leave Rocky behind during a trip to Australia.
There’s no reason to believe she did it at Travis’s behest, but fans have come to this conclusion. Because often a more dramatic interpretation is better than an accurate one.
