Garth Brooks is a divorced man. He has been for many years.
But now the worry is that, given the shocking new allegations made against him, Garth will be divorced twice.
There has been concern about their marriage for several months, ever since Trisha Yearwood walked the red carpet alone at the CMT Awards.
Then, on October 3, a bombshell lawsuit came out in which a woman claimed that Garth had actually raped her in 2019. This is the first time this year that a beloved musician has been accused of reneging on his marriage (cough Dave Grohl cough), but this is a lot worse than an affair.

Are Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood still together?
Everyone take a deep breath: Garth and Trisha are actually still together — for the time being.
On October 3, news broke that the beloved country star was accused of sexual harassment and assault by a woman who identified herself as one of the country star’s former hair stylists and makeup artists in a new lawsuit.
A copy of the lawsuit obtained by CNN states that “Jane Roe” is accusing Garth of raping her during a work trip in 2019.
Immediately, widespread concern spread, given that Garth has been happily married to Trisha for nearly 20 years. He swiftly denied the claims in a lengthy statement to the public.
He said, “I trust the system, I’m not afraid of the truth and I’m not the guy they’ve portrayed me to be.”
But Trisha has not yet issued any statement, nor has she posted anything on social media regarding the allegations yet. But that still seems to be the operative word, given that, just a few days ago, the couple were talking openly about their love.

After being friends for years, Garth and Trisha made their first public appearance as a couple in 2002 at the 33rd Annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards Induction in New York City.
Three years later, the couple got married and since then they have been dutifully supporting each other every day.
Garth has been very open about his love for his family. Just before his 18th wedding anniversary, he opened up about his wife and kids at an event kelly clarkson show In November 2023.
“When it comes to the future, I think the thing you’re grateful for is just another day, right? To do this,” the country icon said.
“So, I think that’s that. I would love to say that the day I take my last breath on this planet, I would love to have my three girls around me and I would love to have the Queen around me.”
A few weeks later, he showed Trisha how much she meant to him on their actual anniversary date with a special gift.
“When your husband sends you flowers and you send him flowers and the card says the exact same thing! #happy18 #love #morethanever,” Trisha captioned her Instagram post.

But then, just days before the lawsuit was to be filed, parade The magazine spoke to the famous country singer couple about their marriage.
When Garth was asked about their 20th anniversary next year, he said he believed he and Trisha had “the greatest love story in the history of this planet.”
So if there was any trouble ahead, he was not going to accept it.

Garth and Trisha first met in the late 80s when they began working on demos together. At the time, both of them were married to other people.
Garth was married to songwriter Sandy Mahal for 15 years before their separation. They had three children and seemed absolutely happy to everyone outside their marriage.
But when it came to that, Garth divorced the first Mrs. Brooks, citing irreconcilable differences.
Now, before you start thinking that Trisha has anything to do with this, think again. Sandy made it clear that the issue was her ex-husband’s explosive career.
“People are constantly trying to get your attention and getting it,” he explains in the documentary. Garth Brooks: The Road I’m Walking On.
“He would have been gone for eight to 10 weeks at a time. He’d come home, and there would be number one parties, or shows, or the CMAs, or the ACMs, the American Music Awards, so it was constantly going on. But we both drifted apart really quickly.
As for Trisha, before finding forever love with Garth, she was married to two other men: her first husband, Christopher Latham, from 1987 to 1991, and her second husband, Robert Reynolds, from 1994. Till 1999.
