Investing.com – U.S. stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , sectors led shares higher.
At the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange, the index rose 0.15% to hit a new all-time high, while the ECB index rose 0.28% and the BCE index rose 0.14%.
The best performer of the session was Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:), which rose 3.30% or 0.72 points to close at 22.56. Boeing Company (NYSE:) added 1.96% or 3.01 points to close at 156.30 and Walmart Inc (NYSE:) rose 1.61% or 1.27 points to 80.33 in after-hours trading.
The worst performers were Merck & Company Inc (NYSE:), which lost 1.31% or 1.54 points to close at 115.63, while Salesforce Inc (NYSE:) was down 0.97% or 2.59 points to close at 264.21. Disney The company (NYSE:) fell 0.83% or 0.78 points to 92.97.
The best performers on the S&P 500 were Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose 4.93% to $250.00. First Solar Inc. (NASDAQ:), which rose 3.78% to close at 249.28, and Tapestry Inc (NYSE:), which gained 3.64% to close at 44.12.
The worst performing stocks were Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:), which fell 4.63% to 1,091.98 in the last session, Moodys Corporation (NYSE:), which lost 3.17% to close at 479.00 and Ross Stores Inc. (NASDAQ:) which fell 2.81% to 149.98 at the close.
The best performers on the NASDAQ Composite were Kaival Brands Innovations Group Inc (NASDAQ:), which rose 133.16% to 1.35, Laser Photonics Corp Unit (NASDAQ:), which rose 80.60% to 18.80, and Global treasure Inc (NASDAQ:), which gained 73.45% to close at $1.18.
The worst performers were Elevai Laboratories Inc (NASDAQ:), which lost 62.00% to close at 0.11 in late trade, Aditx Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:), which lost 29.69% to close at 0.27, and Freight Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:), which lost 28.82% to close at 0.08.
On the New York Stock Exchange, gainers outnumbered losers by 1,539 to 1,275, and 88 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq, 2,065 fell and 1,199 advanced, while 154 ended unchanged.
Elevai Labs Inc (NASDAQ:) shares fell to all time lows, losing 62.00% or 0.17 to 0.11. Laser Photonics Corp Unit (NASDAQ:) shares rose to all time highs, gaining 80.60% or 8.39 to 18.80. Aditx Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:) shares fell to all time lows, down 29.69% or 0.11 to 0.27. Freight Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:) shares fell to all time lows, falling 28.82% or 0.03 to 0.08.

Elsewhere in commodities, crude oil futures for November delivery fell 0.56%, or $0.40, to trade at $70.60 a barrel, while Brent crude oil futures for December delivery fell 0.38%, or $0.28, to trade at $73.41 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.44% at 1.11, while USD/JPY fell 0.24% to 143.57.
The US dollar futures index rose 0.19% to 100.62.
