Jen Tran can do this with a broken heart, folks.
By which we mean the following:
Both move forward – And Taunt your ex-fiance!
For those who don’t know, Tran wrapped up her season of The Bachelorette last week, and it appears her journey ended like a fairy tale when she proposed to Devin Strader.
But then we learned on ABC’s After the Final Rose special that Strader had broken up with Tran just two months after the show’s finale was taped.
“He basically said he didn’t love me anymore and he didn’t feel the same way and he felt something was wrong,” Tran said on air. “He regretted getting engaged and I had no idea.”
Jane was clearly, and understandably, shaken by this development.
But it seems like she has overcome it.
On September 7, Tran shared a TikTok video of herself lip-syncing to the lyrics: “Everyone wants to know what I would do if I didn’t win.”
“When he paused his train of thought, Jonathan Johnson came into the frame and said, “I guess we’ll never know.”
wow thereCorrect?!?!?!?!?!?
Tran captioned her upload “Guess we’ll never know,” apparently poking fun at herself since Johnson was a contestant on a previous season of The Bachelorette .
He sent her home after Fantasy Suite week in favor of relationships with finalists Strader and Marcus Sjoberg.
Now, let’s be clear, we don’t know if Tran and Johnson are a couple.
They also indicate the same in this footage, leading one social media user to quote Taylor Swift and write:
“‘I once believed love would be black and white… but it’s golden.’ Jonathan is truly golden.”
Tran responded to the fan in a follow-up video, saying that “the person made some valid points.”
He certainly will seems We are very much influenced by Jonathan Johnson, at least in our educational opinions.
For his part, Strader has taken some shots at Tran, claiming that she wanted to leave him first and that he at least wanted to end their engagement in person … though he ultimately did so over the phone.
Meanwhile, Johnson was upset when he was sent home.
But he also said in his final episode that he could see Tran was becoming more interested in the two who were left.
“She’s professing her love for Marcus and Devin is saying he loves her and I’m sitting in this in-between position with her where everything is great, it’s fun, we have no problems with each other, there’s no drama,” Jonathan recalled at the time.
“It’s easy, but the next step isn’t there yet.”
Maybe it wasn’t like that then. But maybe it is now, Bachelor Nation. Stay tuned!
