Ahead of Tuesday’s Season 28 premiere of the long-running program, ABC released the following promotional photo of Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farrah Griffin.
Can you explain why it created such a stir on social media?
As you can immediately see, Hostin’s hair is a lot shorter than it was before … perhaps a change in her look due to her youngest child heading off to college.
She is now an empty nester.
Now she has more time to focus on her style.
We mean it… compare the sunny Hostin above to the one who posed on the red carpet just a month before The View returned to the air on September 3:
Yes, it is indeed the same person.
“Is Sunny gone??” one social media user asked after seeing the first photo posted here, to which another user corrected the person, saying she’s “on the far left, next to Joey.”
Another fan said:
“Didn’t recognize you in the group picture. You look absolutely 100% stunning, my love.”
