Congratulations to Jason Duggar.
The former reality star will become a father in just nine months!
We’re making this bold prediction because Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 12th child got engaged to girlfriend Maddie Grace on Friday, Aug. 30.
The joint Instagram announcement comes just three months after Duggar announced her romance.
“On 8/24, Jess asked me to marry him, and I couldn’t be more excited!!,” Maddie wrote in the caption of the above post. “Thank you @kaylajohnsonphoto_ for capturing this special moment so beautifully ???????? #spring2025.”
Jason wrote in the comments section of the photo and message, “She said yes!!”
In one of the pics included from this romantic and totally not staged celebration … we see the soon-to-be lovers staring into each other’s eyes while Maddie places her hand — which also holds her engagement ring! — on her future husband’s chest.
Both of them are also wearing similar clothes.

Jason confirmed his relationship with Grace on Instagram in May, which showed the two dancing on the beach and hugging in the middle of the ocean.
She captioned these photos with a white heart.
Photographer Kayla Johnson captured Jason and Maddie’s engagement photos and showered praise on the upcoming newlyweds on her social media account.
“Jess is the most purposeful, kind person, and Maddie matches that energy perfectly,” she said. “She is truly the most beautiful ball of light in any room. I can’t imagine a more adorable couple, and I can’t wait to see them officially become one!!”
Johnson continued:
“It’s so wonderful to see God do something beautiful between two people.”
Jason’s engagement comes just weeks after his sister, Jenna Duggar , married Stephen Wissman on Aug. 15 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
“I think it’s one of those things that all girls dream about someday,” Jana told People magazine two days before her wedding.
“For me, it felt like, ‘OK, this is never going to come.’ But now it’s starting to make sense. The reality is starting to set in. And I’m thinking, ‘Wow, this is actually something I dreamed about.’
“And to see it happen is just incredible and hard to believe. It’s a dream come true.”
