Taking to Reddit, sister Wives Viewers discuss Cody’s updated face in the Season 19 trailer.
“Is it accurate to say that Cody is a regular at the Botox and lip filler bar? It seems like he also visits the tanning salon,” one Redditor wrote, starting the conversation.
To be clear, Botox and lip fillers are cosmetics, but they aren’t really “plastic surgery.” Having said that, we can admit that they fall into the category of “having some work done.” And, of course, many people use “plastic surgery” colloquially to refer to treatments such as injections.
“I wouldn’t be surprised. He really thinks he’s everything,” one Reddit resident agreed.
“Yup she definitely had fillers in her lips,” another commenter chimed in. “Can’t deny it.”
A third Redditor wrote: “Oops! I think you’re right, at least about the tanning. Look at how tan/red her face is compared to the skin around her eyes.”
Naturally, insults ensued
The discussion about Kody’s presence soon took a new turn.
There was speculation about what cosmetic procedures she may have had, and mockery was made of the various shades on her face (possibly tan lines caused by her glasses), and unflattering comments were made about her hair.
Additionally, some commenters also speculated that other adult stars of Sister Wives have received the same (alleged) injections.
Kody Brown has spent fourteen years on TLC.
During this time, he has separated from three of his four wives. He has also separated from many of his children.
Kody has also alienated countless fans, many of whom only watch it in support of one or more of his exes. When Kody signed up for the show, did he (presumably) envision getting Botox so he could march with the chorus on camera? Boos Probably not, even from the viewers sitting at home.
