Is Nikki Glaser going to be disenrolled?
The comedian has a long history of wowing people with her stellar stand-up performances. But she worries she might push the limits too far when she hosts the Golden Globes in January.
The Hollywood Reporter This week it was revealed that Nikki will be the host of Hollywood’s most outrageous awards ceremony.
The Globes won’t take place until next year. But the host has already started giving fans a sneak peek.

“I am so thrilled to be hosting the Golden Globes,” Glaser wrote in a statement to the outlet.
“It’s one of my all-time favorite nights on television and now I’ll have a front row seat (actually, I think I’ll get to host from the stage).
He added, “The Golden Globes is a big night not just for TV and film, but for comedy as well. It’s one of the few times show business not only allows, but encourages (at least I think so) making fun of itself.”
“(God willing.) It’s an exciting, yet daunting event because it’s live, unpredictable and in front of Hollywood’s biggest stars (who may also be drunk while sitting next to their recent ex-lovers).
Recent Globes hosting has generated more controversy than laughs.
And while Nikki is clearly hoping to reverse the trend, she has no intention of playing it safe.

“Some of my favorite jokes have come from the opening monologues of past Golden Globes when Tina [Fey]Amy [Poehler] or ricky [Gervais] “We have said exactly what we all did not know, and what we desperately needed to hear,” they said in their statement.
“I just hope to continue that old tradition (that could get me cancelled).
“It’s literally a dream job. Plus, now I don’t have to feel guilty about every TV show and movie I’ve watched over the past year. It was all worth it. (Below Deck: Sailing Yachts (Season four will be nominated, right?)”
It is sad that below deck The franchise will likely not be nominated again.
But there’s still plenty to be excited about, as one of comedy’s brightest and most unpredictable talents prepares to take on Hollywood’s best and brightest.
As her work at the recent Tom Brady roast reminded us, Nikki is not a fan of backing down.
So, while we hope her show doesn’t get canceled, we also hope she doesn’t go too easy on her celebrity audience.
