Taraji P. Henson is pregnant?! What kind of a question is that?
Taraji had a great 2023, and 2024 looks to be just as great for her. As the returning host of the BET Awards this year, Taraji has a big responsibility to keep the show on track (and with Will Smith visiting, that could be tough).
But will there be another baby in the coming year? The last time Taraji got pregnant, she was in college!

Taraji is the mother of a very handsome son.
Meet Marcel Johnson. The Hollywood star welcomed her son, now nearly 30, with the late William Lamar “Mark” Johnson. William was her high school sweetheart who was tragically murdered in 2003 at the age of 34.
Marcel and his mother have a great relationship. He has accompanied his mother to many Hollywood events, including her big achievement on the Walk of Fame.
She has also followed her mother in her career choice. Empire Fans will instantly recognise her from the character she played across 16 episodes on the show alongside her formidable mother.
Ironically, his character’s name is? Marcel!
Taraji gave birth to Marcel while she was still in college, and she has been very clear about that.
“When I was in college, I got pregnant, and other girls got pregnant. A lot of them dropped out because they didn’t get help,” Taraji, who attends Howard University, said in an interview in 2023.
“It bothers you … I couldn’t do anything about it then, but I can do something about it now.”
She has made it part of her charitable mission to bring therapy to HBCU campuses so that young people, especially young mothers, can get the help they need away from school.
Is Taraji P. Henson pregnant today?
As of June 2024, Taraji P. Henson has not confirmed that she is pregnant, nor have there been any reports claiming she is pregnant.
Besides, if Taraji is to be believed, it’s unlikely that she’ll ever have another baby.

She was asked if she had any plans to have more kids in the future. She immediately dismissed the idea as well.
“You want to know what my birth control is? It’s called ‘Teenager,'” she joked.
Of course, if she was pregnant, the real question would be — with whom!
Although Taraji has been engaged twice, she has ended both relationships and is perfectly happy being single.
“I’m single and happy,” he revealed on the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast in January 2024.
“I am not craving (for a relationship) and at this point, I have decided that I don’t want to get married. What for? I don’t want (any more) kids (so) what’s the point? Let’s be life partners. Live and have fun. I want to keep my house, you keep yours… so if you want us to live together, I will keep my house but you can buy another house for us, I won’t live with you, you can’t live with me and we will enjoy life… without any paperwork.”
