Kim Kardashian said something interesting on the latest episode of her family reality show.
After playing an evil publicist named Siobhan Corbin on American Horror Story: Delicate, the former sex tape contestant opened up about her future in the entertainment industry.
And she knows this won’t go on forever.
“I didn’t have an agent, and then after American Horror Story… all these different people wanted to meet me,” Kardashian explained to friends at the time, adding:
“We literally spent a day, we went to all the studios, and everybody called with offers within 20 minutes.”
Kim actually isn’t bad in the above series.
She also pretended at the time that she loved sleeping with Ray J on camera, so her acting abilities may be even better than many people first assumed.
As it turns out, Kardashian broke the news on the episode that she will be starring in a Netflix movie called The Fifth Wheel , which she described as a “perfect comedy” from the mind of writer Paula Pell.
Kim will also serve as a producer on the project.
She said on air, “I didn’t plan on this career, and I thought, ‘Well, I’m not going to get ahead of myself here.'”
“I’m really nervous about it because I want to do something great… Every year I want to do something that makes me so uncomfortable that I have to challenge myself.”
Meanwhile, in terms of her acting skills, Kim came across as quite funny and self-aware in this episode of The Kardashians.
“I think for more emotions you need less Botox, and I don’t have that,” she joked. “How would I be scared? How would I cry?”
In the recent Tom Brady roast, of course, Kim was compared to a robot, lacking all aspects of being a real human.
She doesn’t go that far in her self-evaluation. But at least she’s able to laugh off the metaphor.
Via a confession, Kardashian also made a shocking statement looking to the future.
“I can do a movie a year,” she laughed to the camera. “I have about 10 years when I still look good, so that’s all I have, and then I’ll rest for a while.”
We don’t know how serious Kardashian was at the time, but it’s a revealing statement.
Kim has realized that her fame is largely based on her looks – and unfortunately, Hollywood tends to overlook older women who can’t maintain a youthful or sexy appearance.
