If you’re wondering who Jack Quaid’s girlfriend is, or if he’s single and ready for marriage, we have the answer for you.
First, the bad news: yes, Jack Quaid has been cast.
Other good news: Jack Quaid’s girlfriend is his “The Boys” co-star Claudia Doumit.
Here’s everything you need to know about Jack Quaid’s girlfriend Claudia Doumit and their off-screen romantic relationship.
Jack Quaid and Claudia Doumit go public in 2022
Fans got their first glimpse of Jack Quaid’s girlfriend when they were photographed holding hands on “The Boys” in 2022. The pair were sightseeing in Claudia Doumit’s hometown of Sydney, Australia while traveling to promote “The Boys.”
Jack has been a main character on the Amazon Prime series since it premiered in 2019, while Claudia joined the cast in season two the following year. It’s unclear when they went from being co-workers to a couple.
Many fans of “The Boys” speculated online that the two had “chemistry” and a “flirty vibe” in their scenes together.
In February 2024, Jack opened up about his relationship by sharing with People his plans to spend Valentine’s Day with Claudia at Disneyland.
Just a month later, she made her red carpet debut at the 2024 Oscars in March.
Claudia Doumit’s role replaced in ‘The Boys’
Since “The Boys” is based on the comic series of the same name, fans may be interested to know that Claudia Doumit’s role, politician Victoria Newman, is actually based on a male character.
Instead of Victoria, in the comics, there’s Victor (aka Vic the Veep). He’s also a politician, but that’s the only similarity between the two characters, as Victor is considered “simple-minded” while Victoria is actually much smarter.
Victor appears to be a short-lived character in the comics who is eventually killed by Homelander, the main antagonist in “The Boys” franchise. It remains to be seen if Victoria will suffer the same fate as Victor.
This couple is on opposite sides of each other in ‘The Boys’
While Jack Quaid and Claudia Doumit are nothing but heart-eyes and PDA off-screen, their on-screen personalities – Hughie and Victoria, respectively – couldn’t be more different.
As previously mentioned, Claudia’s Victoria is a politician who is also secretly a “super” (i.e. a human with superpowers). Though she’s originally presented as someone trying to take down supers and Vought, the entertainment conglomerate that creates them, it’s unclear what her ultimate goal really is.
Meanwhile Jack’s Hughie is one of “The Boys” alongside Karl Urban’s diabolical Billy Butcher. They only exist as a group to defeat Supes and Vought and originally see Victoria as an ally until they learn the truth about her.
Season four of “The Boys” will see Victoria running for the vice presidency in order to gain entry into the White House, which would be disastrous for obvious reasons.
When “The Boys” returns to Amazon Prime on June 13, we’ll see if Hughie, Billy and their team of good companions are able to finally destroy the evil Vought, the Superman it created and, of course, their future Vice President, Victoria.
