It’s hard to believe that it’s been three weeks since we learned about the relationship between Tom Sandoval and Raquel Lewis.

They document the final weeks of a simpler time, in which Ariana Madix was unaware that her boyfriend of nearly a decade was banging on one of her best friends.

Anyway, at the time of the pool party, tensions were still running high in the wake of a disastrous girls’ trip to Las Vegas to celebrate Katie Maloney’s divorce from Tom Schwartz.
Raquel had a guilt-induced panic attack during the trip, but felt bold at the pool party, and locked horns with Lala Kent as a result.

“It is mesmerizing to watch Raquel try to generate an idea. I don’t care what she thinks of me,” remarked Lala.
Irony alert: One of the craziest things about Lala was that Raquel insulted her by calling her “mistress”.

“No, it’s mean!” Ariana objected when she heard her friends trashing Raquel.
Maddix said in a confession segment, “It’s very difficult for me to wrap my mind around the idea that Raquel is fighting with people and going crazy.”
“I think Katie, Lala and Christina give Raquel the mean girl treatment as they have given other people in the past.”
At the time, Ariana had no idea what was going on between Raquel and Sandoval — or was going to be going on soon.
We’d say Lewis should have felt guilty watching him defend Ariana on last night’s episode, but remorse doesn’t seem to be in his wheelhouse.
All-in-all, the episode did much to further Raquel’s villainous arc, with the pageant queen riding on her moral high horse spewing vitriol at Lala:
Lewis told Kent, “You’re a bully, you pathetic kingpin, I don’t need this energy in my life.”
“I’m finally learning my lesson with you. We’ll never be friends. You really give off mistress bimbo vibes, and I can’t stand it.
In the weeks following the breakup of Scandoval, Lala repeatedly insisted that she never liked Raquel or Sandoval.
After last night’s episode, we’re inclined to believe him!
