Jehane Thomas, a popular personality on TikTok and mother of two young children, passed away unexpectedly last week after experiencing months of migraine headaches.
She was 30 years old.
The terrible news was broken late Tuesday night by friend Alix Rest, who confirmed the death in a GoFundMe listing started in Thomas’ memory.
Reist wrote on the page, “Despite suffering from migraines and having been ill for several months, his passing was completely unexpected and we are all completely heartbroken.”
“Her two children, Isaac (3, about 4), and Elijah (1), are left without their mother.
“I started this page in hopes of raising some money so that her beautiful boys can have the best possible childhood, make memories and make sure they are comfortable.
“Nothing will bring the boys back to their mother, but we hope this brings some relief to their families, knowing how much they are loved and supported.”
The social-media star hails from Doncaster, England.
As well as co-owning a successful small stationery business, she has nearly 82,000 followers on TikTok, usually using the platform to document her life as a mother to Isaac and Eliza.
On March 15, just two days before he passed away, Thomas shared an update on his health as he lay in his hospital bed.
She revealed that she could barely walk… and that she was about to go under the knife in the near future.
Even before this surgery, Thomas was admitted to the hospital for a week.
“6 days in the hospital and I’m finally home with my boys,” she wrote on March 12, adding this month:
“It has been a really challenging week, not only physically but also mentally.
“I’ve missed these two so much and it feels like they’ve grown so much while I’ve been away.
As of this writing, the above GoFundMe page has raised over $16,000.
In her final TikTok post two days before her death, Thomas explained why she was waiting for the process quoted above, writing online:
“I am waiting to see if I can take one of my frovatriptans before surgery as no other pain relievers are taking this pressure or if I need to get off of it and hopefully have surgery I will get instant relief.
“I can’t lift my head without being sick and I’m unable to walk, I need to wheel everywhere. That’s how bad the pain is.
