The pan-European Stoxx 600 -1.65% in early trade with most major sectors and stocks trading in negative territory. That reflects the negative mood caused by the SVB situation in the US. European bank shares were headed for their biggest one-day drop in nine months on Friday, a day after a sharp sell-off in US banks with falls for most of the big names, including HSBC and Deutsche Bank.
