Minnesota Vikings wide receiver KJ Osborn was a literal hero Sunday night when he saved a man’s life from a burning car with three other people, as he posted on his Twitter account.
The wide receiver saw a car on the side of the road and pulled over to help. The man whose life was saved found himself in a car accident. The wide receiver rushed to help with three other people and was able to save a life: His Twitter post highlighted the other three people who helped him.
Osborn also posted a short statement on his Twitter account about the situation:
“Most of the time the saying goes ‘wrong place, wrong time’. But this time I believe God had me, us, in the right place at the right time. Last night these 3 absolute heroes and I helped saving a man’s life by rescuing him from a burning vehicle after a serious accident. A situation I would never have imagined being apart of in a million years. I’ll leave you with this. God is real. And His LOVE is He will send his angels to encamp around you and give you his grace and mercy.”
Osborn remains a constant target for the Minnesota Vikings
The wide receiver has enjoyed a good two years after not seeing the ball much in his rookie season, taking over a lot of the snaps with Adam Thielen struggling to keep up, though Justin Jefferson remains the clear target.
He will be a free agent after the 2023 season. His previous two years finished with 655 and 650 receiving yards. He also had 12 touchdowns in the previous two seasons, which is an impressive mark when you’re playing in an offense that has Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson.
Rumor has it that Adam Thielen will be released before free agency opens, giving Osborn a bigger stake in the Vikings’ goals. A great hero off the field, he will have the opportunity to cement his future with the Vikings in his contract year.
