After their pleasant first date, the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Second Way Shows Krish and Jamie facing reality.
maybe they know each other well through the Internet, But they just met. They will know all kinds of things about each other.
In a preview of next week’s episode, Jamie learns that Chris likes to carry weapons. In this case the knife.
It comes as a shocker to the Venezuelan-born beauty. She is wondering if she really knows Krish. at least that seem To be what he has in mind.
Kris Foster and Jamie Noguera have waited a long, long time to finally meet in person. They fell in love on the internet.
Meeting just nine days before their wedding doesn’t leave them little time to set things up. It also meant that they had to run fast enough to see how they got along.
One major hurdle was sexual chemistry. The two separately spoke about their compatibility in front of the camera. All is good on that front.
But real life isn’t just sitting in bed with two big owl pillows. It also means taking care of the little things.
Chris needs new toothpaste. She can’t use Jamie’s because of a mint allergy.
It’s one of those little things they’re still learning about each other.
As far as fun stuff goes, Chris has some unpacking to do after making this big move.
She handed her wedding shoes to Jamie. And she also bought and carefully packed her wedding dress.
Jamie sets up the wedding and she has to handle the move on her own. Chris felt it only fitting that he provide her with a wedding gown and shoes.
But when it comes to the apartment, the rent is slightly higher than their consent. From $100. This may increase as the months pass.
Chris made a very careful budget. She was surprised when Jamie chose this place.
But, as Jamie explained, it was because she knew Chris would love it. It had all the facilities she wanted.
And here there were some nuances.
Jamie works as an administrative assistant. She has her own income, so they don’t need to depend only on Krish’s money to sell their house.
Currently Jamie is on 30 days leave. After that she will return to work. And he’s happy to contribute to the bills as needed.
Krish and Jamie take a walking tour of downtown. chris is one of the many Very Small town in rural Alabama.
So it’s different for him. The fun of living in the city is different. Feeling free and safe in public with the woman he loves is a positive change.
Remember, Chris only had to go to Birmingham for the weekend to spend time with another woman.
Due to a mint allergy, Chris has limited options. And in the end, she gets bubblegum flavored toothpaste. He and Jamie laugh, as it is clearly meant for children.
While he’s there, Chris also needs his painkillers. As Jamie knows, she suffers from chronic pain in her back and neck.
Chris was the victim of two horrific injuries to his back and neck. Eventually, he’ll need surgery. Recovery will last up to a year and will include wearing a metal brace. And it will cost $100,000.
It’s unclear what shocked Jamie more: hearing about Chris’ future medical condition, or hearing how dystopian the US healthcare system is.
However, what really caught viewers’ attention is Jamie learning about something very different.
Krish’s interest in weapons was revealed in the promo of next week’s episode. it’s clearly not shared Interest.
In a preview of Season 4, Episode 5, which will air Sunday, March 5, we see Kris and Jamie going shopping again.
This time, they are not looking for toothpaste or medicines. Chris, who left many things behind when he moved to Colombia, wants to buy a knife.
These are not kitchen knives. This is probably for self-defense. And Chris expresses that she feels more comfortable owning one.
“I always carry some sort of weapon,” Kris confesses to the camera.
Interestingly, she is not filming this scene alone. Next to him is Jamie with beautiful black hair.
And, in the same scene, we can see Jamie’s uncertain reaction to Krish’s entry.
Even two people who are apparently from the same culture may have vastly different views on knives and other weapons.
Well, Jamie and Chris have led very different lives in different countries in different cultures. This is because they will view the knives differently.
Knives are very practical tools with many nonviolent applications. However, it can be a little scary to find out you’re living with someone who has a big one. Yes, even if you love and trust them.
Krish demonstrated how one can swing a knife in self-defense. She’s a little quirky, but we doubt the production would have suggested she appear.
Meanwhile, the preview shows Jamie answering all of this.
“Oh my god, he’s a psychopath,” Jamie confesses to the camera.
Truth be told, we doubt Preview is playing fast and loose with editing. It’s almost guaranteed with any promo like this.
Jamie can talk about anything here. She’s essentially saying the opposite of what he’s saying.
We won’t know what Jamie means until a more detailed preview or the actual episode airs. However, we’ll keep in mind that editing may remove many themes.
